Chef Management services include chef liaison, itinerary planning, menu curation, procurement advice, support team engagement and on-the-ground chef management.

We can project manage your event from head to toe and work with your team, however large or small. As project managers, team AFK joins you as an extension of your event team to help oversee all aspects of your event, from curation to execution.

She is the go to person for all licensing, government rules, operational SOPs, manpower, payment systems, etc. She also manages our esteemed guest chefs from liaison to ingredient procurement.
Her background with project directing international festivals and her time working with some of the industry’s best on global standard events like F1 has prepared her well.
Operations & Sales
The rose among the thorns. Faris is the man with a plan. He’s the resident expert on the tangible elements of an event. His experience in structures, power, waterworks, build/contractor management, etc, is invaluable to any project.
Best part? All his experience in managing festivals and pop ups means he is a sales guy who actually knows what can and cannot be done. Hallelujah.
Production, Branding & Design
the creative one.
If A and F cover the tangible stuff, then Kim takes care of all the intangible stuff. She creates and manages all design, branding, look & feel, UX, concept & content creation aspects of any show/project.
Her background in theatre, design, festivals and F&B give her a unique perspective to create a wide range of designs and experiences that are also operationally sound.
Together, we have more than 20 years event and F&B experience. (we know, we were shocked too). Before AFK, we worked on international food festivals, wine shows, pop-up restaurants, concept events, high-end dinners and more, both as individuals and as a team.

AFK stands for away from keyboard...and you can’t do awesome events without being away from keyboard (you see what we did there?)
Yes, it also happens to be our initials.
Easy. Because we love what we do. And no one works harder than people who love what they do. Our collective experience has allowed us to expand our network in the region, trained us to work under pressure and be as adaptable as possible.
